Gouldings Martial Arts was Founded by Jamie Goulding in 1996 and went on to becoming a world famous UK Centre of Excellence.
Here at Gouldings Martial Arts we strive to help you understand the benefits of martial arts as well as learn discipline and defence skills. We teach and emphasize a series of life skills that challenge our students throughout, not only in their martial arts training but also their everyday lives.
The Gouldings Martial Arts method gradually guides you to increase confidence, mental discipline, self- defence and much more!! This is the fun way to get in shape, stay in shape, while learning the tools of personal protection.
Junior students are taught to be respectful and polite towards their parents, siblings, teachers and elders as well as the importance of doing their best in school. Our teenage and young adult students are taught to set achievable goals and that hard work does have its rewards, by increasing their confidence and developing an attitude of self-reliance. This also enables them to make the correct decisions in real life problems.

My son is autistic and struggles with balance and his fine motor skills, also he struggles following instructions due to his attention span being nearly non existent. I wanted him to join not only to improve his co-ordination, balance, following instructions but also his social skills. He has been going to the gym for around 6 months now and I can’t believe the turn around in him. His confidence is sky high but I also see massive improvements In not only the physical aspects but he has come out of his shell massively! He really enjoys going now and has made lots of new friends. I think that the additional 1-2-1 sessions with Jack each week are also really paying off and I can’t thank you all enough. I would 100% recommend this gym as the staff are really friendly and make the lessons really fun for the kids. My son loves going.

Signed my stepson up after he was bullied, constantly picked on and finally was attacked by a group of older boys , the lads confidence was shattered and he hid himself away . Since he started his training at GMA he is back to being himself and can sense what he needs to do in situations due to the training and the due diligence attitude he has received, defend when you have to ! Avoid if you can 🙏
